New Designers in the Design Studio™ Portfolio
The Design Studio™ collection from Hunter Douglas started with a single line of designer fabrics from renowned textile artist Rebecca Atwood and has now grown to include two additional lines, one by Seema Krish and the other by Marcie Bronkar.
In describing her new partnership with Hunter Douglas, Krish said, “The Hunter Douglas collection is a mix of place, nature, and techniques. I believe textiles should connect us with places and help to transport us to the beautiful world beyond the walls of our homes.” Her collection includes 7 exclusive fabrics, two of which are custom embroideries.
The new line by Marcie Bronkar also includes seven designer fabrics, including two custom embroideries available in a varied color palette. Bronkar is well known for her work that modernizes historically significant design. When describing her work for the Hunter Douglas collection, Bronkar explained, “I feel a responsibility to interpret historical design in a modern way so that it can live in a modern home.”
